Cookies

Without your agreement no cookies are set, for any purpose, and nothing loads from anyone else. The first time you visit, a small card asks whether we may measure how the site is used; “Customise” on that card names each tool we would load and gives it a switch of its own, so you can allow one and refuse another. Until you answer — and if you answer no — nothing changes: no tag, no pixel, no request to an analytics provider.

If you agree. We load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which set the cookies listed below — or only the part of it you switch on, if you choose under “Customise”. There is no advertising on this site, and nothing here profiles you.

What is kept in your browser. Three things, in the browser’s own storage on your device: your answer to the cookie card, so it is not asked again; the conversation you have with the AI guide, so you can come back to it; and a reference for each enquiry you send, so you can see its status and book a call on it. None is a cookie, none is sent with every request, and none reaches us on its own — the enquiry reference travels only when you ask for that enquiry’s status. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes all three.

Apart from the measurement you agree to, the site loads nothing from anyone else. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than from a font service, and the illustrative images on some pages are fetched by our server, so no third party learns your address simply because you opened a page. There are no embedded videos, maps or social widgets.

The record of every visit, agreed or not, is the ordinary server log described in the privacy policy: time, browser type, page requested, and a shortened IP address.

• _ga, _ga_<ID> — Google Analytics. Tells one visitor from another and one visit from the next. Two years.
• _clck — Microsoft Clarity. Keeps Clarity’s identifier for your browser. One year.
• _clsk — Microsoft Clarity. Joins the pages of one visit into one replay. One day.
• MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, SM — set by Microsoft on its own domains (clarity.ms, bing.com) while Clarity runs. Up to one year.

Who these providers are, what they receive and how long they keep it is in the privacy policy and the subprocessors list.

“Cookie settings” at the foot of every page opens the panel again, with your current answer already on the switches. Turn any of them off — or decline altogether — and the cookies it set are removed from this site, the page reloads without that tag, and nothing further is sent from it. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser; the site does not need them.
