Case study · ArtCraft

ArtCraft. Making craftsmanship easier to discover.

ArtCraft sells Pakistani craft — blue pottery, Multani crockery, ajrak — from a store in Multan and at artcraft.pk. The work made the products findable by the things people search for, not only by the shop’s name, and made the business profile part of the same route.

Every figure on this page is read from ArtCraft’s own Google Search Console (web, three months from 17 May 2026) and Google Business Profile, as supplied. There is no earlier figure, and none is implied.

Where it started

The product was strong. The opportunity was discoverability.

A business with real relevance to craft, category and local searches, whose search presence had room to be found by more of them. The starting point is described in words: no earlier figure exists, so none is shown.

The starting point

A product-led business with strong relevance to craft, category and local searches. The case is about strengthening the paths that lead to it.

The aim

Broaden discovery, connect what people search for to the page that answers it, and make the business profile part of the same journey.

  • Beyond the brand

Reach people searching for products and categories, not only for the shop’s name.

  • Product intent

Give a search for a product a clear route to the collection or product that answers it.

  • Craft as an entry

Use the craft and the products’ own stories as further ways in from search.

  • Local discovery

Make the business profile part of the wider discovery journey, beside the website.

What we did

Build the search around what the business actually sells.

Five connected pieces of work, each tied to a different part of the discovery journey — so that a search, wherever it starts, ends on something to buy or somewhere to go.

  1. Search

What someone types —, a product, a craft, a place

  2. Page

The page that answers it,, not the home page

  3. Product

The thing they came for,, one step away

  4. Action

Order, call,, or find the store

  1. Search coverage

Widened the footprint around product, category and craft-related searches.

  2. Product discovery

Connected search themes to the product and collection pages that answer them.

  3. Content

Used product knowledge and the craft itself as informational ways in.

  4. Local search

Strengthened the Google Business Profile alongside the website.

  5. Search to commerce

Made the step from a query to a page, a product and an action a short one.

Performance

The measurable search result.

Google Search Console, web search, three months from 17 May 2026. The totals are Google’s; the chart beside them is the same chart, traced.

Clicks · left Impressions · right
Traced from the screenshot, one point a day. Added up, the traced lines come to 2,262 clicks and 113,036 impressions — within 1 % of the totals Google prints.

114K impressions — ArtCraft in front of a searcher about 1,200 times a day, on average.

  • Traffic

2.28K clicks from organic search — people who chose the result and came to the site.

  • Position

9.3 on average, across every query it appeared for — on average, a first-page result.

Search queries

The search footprint extends beyond the brand.

The seven top queries by clicks, as the console lists them. Two are the shop’s name. The other five are things people want to buy — and they are where nearly all of the visibility is.

Local search

The business profile adds another discovery surface.

The same search can end on the map: a pottery store in Multan, rated, reviewed and open. The profile is where a searcher checks the business before they act.

ArtCraft’s Google Business Profile as its manager sees it: 234 customer interactions, 463 monthly views, and the public panel — Art Craft, artcraft.pk, 5.0 stars from 8 Google reviews, pottery store in Multan, open 24 hours.

The outcome

What the evidence shows.

Three sources, each showing a different part of the same journey. Only what they show is reported here.

  1. Search Console

114K impressions, 2.28K clicks and a 9.3 average position over three months: search is a steady source of visitors.

  2. Search queries

Five of the seven top queries are products, crafts or categories. Discovery does not depend on someone already knowing the name.

  3. Local profile

A 5.0 rating from eight reviews and 234 interactions: the search can end at the store as well as on the site.

The takeaway

Search became part of the storefront.

Measurable visibility across branded, product, category and craft searches, carried through to a live business profile. Verified evidence only: no historical figure is invented.
